Hi, I’m Danko Adamczyk — Solutions Architect, breath coach and lifelong student of both technology and human development.

Professional journey

I’ve been building software for two decades, growing from hands-on development into guiding long-term architecture and engineering culture. What has stayed the same all that time is one question: does the software still say what the business means?

That question is why I keep returning to Domain-Driven Design — finding the real domain, naming it in the language people already use, and drawing honest boundaries around it. EventStorming is how I get a room full of different disciplines to see that picture together, and it is usually where the hidden boundaries surface. The architecture follows from there: modular, event-driven where that helps, and above all something teams can keep changing without waiting on each other.

Clean code is where all of that turns out to be true, or not. A boundary that doesn’t survive contact with the codebase was never more than a drawing, so I stay close to the code — naming, tests, small deliberate refactors — as the practical proof that the model still holds. And I like doing that with people around me: sharing what I know, mentoring, and leaving a team better equipped than I found it.

Beyond technology

Alongside my technical career, I’m active as a breath coach. Personal growth and balance between hard and soft skills play a central role in my life and work.

In my free time, I explore healthy living climate and smart automation in small, off-grid spaces — using the conversion of a vintage camper as my hands-on testbed for craftsmanship, self-sufficiency and simplicity. A beautiful counterbalance to my digital work.
